What is counselling?

Counselling provides you with a safe space to talk. Counselling creates a confidential space where people can begin to heal with the support of their counsellor. One very popular definition of counselling is "Helping people to help themselves". The relationship between a counsellor and a client is confidential and is based on respect and trust. The counsellor will help you find solutions that are realistic and workable for you.
