Rape Crisis North East

Rape Crisis North East (RCNE) is a dedicated professional counselling service available to women, men and teenagers who have suffered as a result of Rape, Sexual Harassment, Sexual Assault and Child Sexual Abuse within the North East Region of Ireland.

We are here to provide you with a range of intervention support including; advocacy, information, court accompaniment, garda accompaniment, accompaniment to sexual assault treatment units (S.A.T.U.), counselling support and crisis intervention.

• Individual counselling & therapy for teenagers 14+

• Help for families and friends of survivors

• Practical information and support

• Court attendance and accompaniment

• Medical accompaniment to SATU – (Sexual Assault Treatment Units)

• Garda accompaniment & Victim Impact Statement support service

• Community outreach

• Talks and information

• Advocacy – speaking up for the rights of survivors of sexual violence.
